David Elderfield | CEO

As CEO of Clearflow Australia for nearly 30 years, David has a depth of experience in the pipeline sector and is known for his extensive knowledge and experience in preventative maintenance, pipeline refurbishment, trouble shooting and crisis response. As a hands-on owner, David has fostered a culture within Clearflow of comprehensive client consultation and problem analysis, before recommending the most appropriate solution.

As well as being a leading local service provider, Clearflow has a number of national and international alliances including the Australian government in Antarctica, the Royal Australian Navy and the governments of the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

Peter MacSween | Manager | Business Development and Projects

Peter has been part of the Clearflow story since its inception in the early nineties as manager, business development and projects. His focus is building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Peter’s depth of knowledge and experience in the pipeline sector and his years of association with Clearflow mean he has a clear understanding of issues faced by Clearflow’s clients and is able to recommend the most appropriate process as a solution. In collaboration with David he also supervises a number of projects, ensuring they are completed to Clearflow’s exacting standards. Peter is also the key liaison contact for managing Clearflow’s scheduled maintenance programmes.

Lionel Clark | Business Development and Project Manager | 
Clearflow Tasmania

Lionel works as an engineer with multiple qualifications. He has recently stepped away from a long and successful career with TasWater. As a local with extended career-based knowledge and experience, Lionel has an in-depth knowledge of the water sector in Tasmania and the challenges it faces. He also has shared understanding with local councils and water authorities as to the importance of regular pipeline maintenance to ensure reliable and optimal flows and highest quality water. With direct experience within the pipeline sector, Lionel uses his specialist knowledge to build productive relationships with local councils and water authorities and with formal qualifications in project management, ensures that all projects are completed to Clearflow Australia’s exacting standards.

Highly trained and experienced operators

David, Peter, and Lionel are supported by a team of highly trained and experienced operators. Team members are fully trained and mentored by David in all aspects of Clearflow’s service portfolio and licensed consultants are engaged when necessary. Each team has a project supervisor who ensures operational excellence so that project outcomes align with the specific needs of each client. The team is also fully trained in all aspects of OH&S and Clearflow is proud to have a reputation for being accident and injury-free.
